Service & Maintenance

Recent changes to F-Gas regulations mean air conditioning units with at least 3kg of refrigerant must be inspected every year. Are you complying to your statutory check? Do you know how much refrigerant is in your system? Contact us to arrange a site visit where we will check this for you.

Regular, scheduled service known as PPM (or Planned Preventive Maintenance) must be carried out to keep air conditioning equipment in top working order, optimising its accuracy and efficiency. Preventive maintenance reduces any possibility of equipment failing before they actually do, and enhances the reliability of equipment by replacing any worn components prior to them failing.

Our PPM contracts, entail the following aspects:

• Maintenance visit times suitable to you, the client
• Detailed inspection
• Test and cleaning of systems
• General maintenance work
• Every visit completed with engineer’s report and recommendations
• Priority scheduling of repair/service calls

Key goals of PPM air conditioning maintenance contracts:

• Unit life longevity
• Energy efficiency to save money and lessen environmental impact
• To optimise up-time
• Improve air quality and comfort
• Comply to the latest F-Gas regulation
• Reduce any risk of breakdown and thus or replacement costs

Repairs & Breakdowns

Air Conditioning can be vital to a business. Faults or break-down can massively affect the atmosphere of your workplace/shop/restaurant/home and may need immediate repair.

We aim to service and/or repair any systems swiftly with as little disruption as possible to customers and any on-site business. By recognising the importance of correctly identifying system faults and promptly organising the repairs that are necessary, we are able to return your system to its most efficient running conditions soon after a breakdown or suspected fault.

R22 Replacement

If your air conditioner or refrigeration systems pre-date 2004, it is highly likely that they will contain R22. If the system was manufactured after 2004, it should already be compliant with new regulations.
If you are using equipment manufactured before 2004 and do not wish to upgrade to a newer system, you can use a direct ‘drop-in’ replacement.

Many businesses are using this time as an opportunity to update their air conditioning systems to newer systems that were designed specifically for new types of refrigerants. By upgrading, you are ensuring maximum efficiency, using R410A inverter air conditioning instead of R22 equipment has been demonstrated to increase efficiency by more than 30% in some cases, reducing energy costs.

We can advise you on your obligations regarding R22 legislation, how to upgrade your air conditioning and refrigeration systems, or about our ‘drop-in’ replacement service. We are a Mitsubishi Electric accredited installer, up-to-date with all the relevant legislation, and all of our air conditioning engineers have received the latest training for servicing and maintenance.
